In the heart of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Naivasha offers a different way to meet nature. Because of its distance from the coast, it is not offered as a day trip from Watamu but as part of a multi-day organised tour. The boat ride crosses waters home to hippos and remarkable birdlife, while the shores alternate acacias and wide landscapes. When the itinerary allows, it can continue with a guided walk on Crescent Island or be combined with Hell’s Gate.
